I was born on the 13-05-1994. Since my home is in the beautiful Zillertal, which is well-known for good route climbing and bouldering, I started climbing when I was 14 years old. A good friend of mine and I just bought some stuff and we went straight to the rocks. At first we had no idea what we were doing, so our first tries were embarrassing, but after a few sessions I got stuck to the climbing virus.
Next Winter we started to do some proper bouldering in a gym near my hometown. The next years where full of huge progression but always split with some injury breaks. After a few years of almost only route climbing, my focus switched more into the bouldering game. At the moment I almost only do bouldering.
For me, climbing is much more than just a sport. It's a lifestyle and it is my passion. Even if I work full-time (38.5h a week) as an engine-building technician and electrician in a waterplant, my whole life runs about climbing. The good thing about my job is that I have weekends from Friday till Sunday. So I can do a lot of weekend trips. I really love to visit new places and climb a lot of boulders in a day.
Even if the weather isn`t that good, I always climb outside at the weekend. If you are motivated enough and you drive a lot, you always find a dry spot. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I have climbed about 400 problems graded 8A and harder (including some combinations and soft grades ;) ).
And many more ;)
