"Discovering the mountain by skis, in autonomy, with the map, climbing up, finding the passage and skiing down to explore what is behind, are the things that boost me up"

Originally from Finland, the flat Scandinavian country, I have been attracted by the bigger and steeper mountains since my childhood. Before entering the university, I knew I had to make a choice ; to stay where I was born or to move to the Alps and combine the studies and my passion for the mountains. As I also had this obstination to study in French, the choice was quite easy...

My studies took a while to finish as my passion for the mountain started to take a larger part in my life. But the two leitmotivs of my life, determination and motivation, pushed me throught to obtain the diploma of dental surgeon. From that day I knew I could consacrate more and more time to my passion, summer and winter, up there where the rock touches the sky and the snow flakes hit the ground first.

I entered the ski world by participating to some expeditions in Perou, Svalbard, Maroc... Since the last 10 years my practice has begun more oriented to pure mountain and steep skiing.

Discovering the mountain by skis, in autonomy, with the map, climbing up, finding the passage and skiing down to explore what is behind, are the things that boost me up.

Chamonix, where I have lived for 18 years now, offers a great terrain with quick acces up high. My heart also belongs to the Dolomites, the vast and wild mountain range with an ever surprising beauty and a huge potentiel for steep skiing.
