SCARPA® DEMO TOUR: a success all over Italy

The “SCARPA® DEMO TOUR” took us on a journey around Italy to get together with our athletes; we started in Treviso and continued to Pietramurata (TN), Parma, Milan and Cagliari before finally arriving in Rome.

The idea behind the Tour was to test our footwear on the ground, allowing users to make a considered and targeted choice when it comes to buying, particularly for the new models recently added to our range. Climbing shoes are actually a genuine item of technical equipment, designed specifically for the shape of the foot, so each climber needs to identify the most suitable model for his or her foot and climbing style.

The various SCARPA® DEMO TOUR events were a success, and it’s mostly thanks to all of you!

We’re delighted and inspired by the fact that you liked our friendly format and the presence of our athletes, accompanied by musical entertainment from Climbing Radio.

It was wonderful to see climbers of all kinds brought together by the desire to have fun and scale the heights, with our innate instinct for holding on. Perhaps this is why we saw a growing interest in the Soft family of shoes -  Furia S  in particular - which gives climbers great freedom of movement and action. The shoe’s extraordinary sensitivity gives constant feedback from the feet and allows for optimum real-time adjustments of position.

Thanks to Gabriele Gorobey, Francesco Vettorata, Juri Chiaramonte, Alessandro Gandolfo, Francesca and Giulia Medici, Gabriele Moroni, Alessandro Palma, Riccardo Caprasecca and Riccardo Piazza, and our partners at the various climbing gyms!
