At the OutDoor Show, a preview of what’s new at SCARPA® for Spring Summer 2019
Come and see what’s new at SCARPA® at the OutDoor Show in Friedrichshafen from 17 to 20 June, in pavilion B2, stand 303!
Today, just as 80 years ago, our aim here at SCARPA® is to respond to the needs of our team of professional athletes and testers, fans of the brand and everyone who loves the mountains, by creating products that offer previously unheard of performance, safety and technical and style features that can really make the difference to everyone’s outdoor adventures. Thanks to the passion of our R&D department, mountaineers, ultra-runners, climbers, ski mountaineers, alpine guides and the entire SCARPA® network, we are glad to present to the public a long list of new products for the various summer disciplines at this latest edition of the Outdoor Show.
In one of the newest segments on the SCARPA® horizon, and one of the most impressively innovative SCARPA® unveils two new models in the SS19 collection: Spin Ultra and Proton XT. The former is an agile, reactive, high-performance model suitable for both top ultra-runners and beginners who desire high level of cushioning allowed by the leading-edge Vibram Litebase technology. The latter is ideal for prolonged use and long-distance off-road routes, offering comfort, duration and grip on all kinds of terrain.
A new addition to the Mescalito family: Mescalito KN, with an upper made using the knitted technology for a lighter, more breathable model. Reduced weight and excellent grip thanks to the combination of Vibram Litebase and Megagrip.
The introduction of the “Air” model adds to the Moraine family, traditionally popular, a new model for one-day hiking trip fans. In addition to the new versions of the existing models, the new entry Moraine Air is a low shoe for hiking on mixed terrain on sunny days, strolls along paths and long walks. There are also new versions of Mojito: the Mojito Trail model - a light, low shoe for fast hiking on mixed terrain, walks along mountain paths and dynamic trips - and the Mojito Hike Plus GTX, a protective model for hiking along dirt tracks with light loads, and for walks along easy ground. Light and versatile, the perfect compromise between comfort, waterproofing and performance.
With all the new models and versions for Spring-Summer 2019, SCARPA® is able to offer the right climbing shoe for every vertical challenge: Arpia, with excellent grip and sensitivity, for those who want to try performance models; Vapor V, with updated material and technologies, it’s the evolution of the classic Vapor V; Instinct VS Wmn, finally the woman version of the successful VS model; the brand-new Piki J, a comfortable model that’s easy for tomorrow’s little climbers to slip into; and last but not least, Furia 80, a limited edition for SCARPA’s 80th anniversary this 2018, that represents the best, the technological abilities of SCARPA; dedicated to all real SCARPA lovers!
Perhaps the most audacious member of the Ribelle family. The Ribelle S OD version is dedicated to fast alpinists: ultra-light, precise and sensitive, for fast, technical uphill from the valley right up to the peak. Ribelle S OD is precise, to boost performance and speed.
The spirit of SCARPA® can also accompany you on a stroll through the city, or on your travels: MOJITO CANVAS SW, inspired by the Mojito collection, has a canvas upper enriched by the stone washed treatment and the tone on tone leather inserts, while the new Gecko City, with a knitted technology upper, is the ideal model for those who bring a stylish, dynamic approach to everyday life.
Haraka Air Kid is a light, breathable model for free time, dedicated to little explorers for walking and for everyday use in spring-summer season.
